Lord Freud, DWP Minister for Welfare Reform, and Edward Davey MP, BIS Minister for Employment Relations, Consumer and Postal Affairs, have announced an independent review of sickness absence in Great Britain which will make recommendations about how the costs of sickness absence can be reduced.
