MSPs asked to support manifesto for M.E.
Action for M.E. and the Association of Young People with M.E. have produced an election manifesto for M.E., calling for Scottish Parliamentary candidates to support the introduction of recommendations made by the Scottish Health Care Needs Assessment on M.E., access to training in M.E. for all healthcare professionals and the establishment of a centre of excellence for M.E. research.

Research centre for M.E.
NHS Norfolk, NHS Suffolk and NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney are working with Invest in M.E. to provide better care for local people with M.E. The national charity is also planning to set up a research centre for M.E. at Norwich Research Park.

Skydive for Action for M.E.
Debbie Forde will celebrate her 40th birthday by taking part in a sponsored skydive to raise money for Action for M.E. Debbie’s husband Kevin was diagnosed with M.E. two years ago. To sponsor her, call 07765 652829.

New group for Exeter
Support and Awareness of M.E., a new support group, has been set up in Exeter by Emma Webb, who was diagnosed with the illness two and a half years ago. The group meets on the second Friday of every month at Jury’s Inn.
