John is responsible for the hands-on management of the charity’s communications activity and initiatives online and in print.
He has spent much of his career in journalism, including time as news editor and then deputy editor of a daily paper in the beautiful city of Bath, before becoming editor in chief and editorial director of a media group publishing newspapers, magazines and websites in the south east of England.
More recently he has worked in media, PR, community and stakeholder engagement and fundraising roles in the criminal justice sector and for Macmillan Cancer Support.
