Profile

Katrina is responsible for coordinating Action for M.E. projects and campaigning work in Scotland. This includes developing and implementing projects, such as the Scottish Hub, that will benefit people with M.E. (as well as their carers and family), promoting the needs of people with M.E. to service planners, policy makers and other key decision-makers in Scotland; and collaborating with other individuals and organisations interested in improving the lives of people with M.E.

Prior to joining Action for M.E., she worked for the charity Children in Scotland, in a policy and research role. She has also worked on a range of social research projects, both across the UK and including spells in Ethiopia and the Philippines.

Her interest in improving services and support for people with M.E. has developed through personal experience and involvement in awareness-raising activities as a volunteer.

Little weaknesses

A well played fiddle. Katrina loves hearing music live - especially music with folk/trad roots.
