Amazon trek: biobank fundraiser on TV
Ex-soldier Ed Stafford’s amazing fundraising trek in aid of the M.E. Biobank is the subject of a TV documentary, Walking the Amazon, tonight, 10pm, Discovery Channel. Action for M.E. is also raising money for the Biobank. Donate online via JustGiving.com.

Claimants should be treated fairly
In a letter to the editor, Action for M.E.’s Sir Peter Spencer highlights the Medical Research Council's £1.5 million funding set aside for research into the causes of M.E. Sir Peter hopes that more research will lead to better understanding of the illness by the Department of Work and Pensions, and that claimants will be treated more fairly.
