Effect of welfare reform on disabled people
In a few weeks, the Government’s welfare reform bill will face its final reading in the House of Lords. “I ask that Duncan Smith thinks of every cancer patient or person suffering from a long-term condition before his bill goes through,” writes disability campaigner Sue Marsh.

Shortlisted to carry Olympic torch
Shameem Arnold, who has recovered from M.E., is on the shortlist to carry the Olympic torch. The final judging stage will take place in just a few days time. Shameem was nominated by her husband and business partner Mat, with whom she founded Moky dance fitness classes.
