We were delighted to learn that one of our supporters, Dianne Owen, who has registered to take part in the Unity Lottery scheme, has been our first winner! Dianne won £5 in a draw in December, and was pleased to hear that she is the first Action for M.E. supporter to receive a prize.
Unity Lottery is a scheme whereby you can sign up to take part each week for just £1, with 50% of all proceeds going directly to a charity of your choice. You are then automatically entered into the weekly draw, with the top prize being £25,000!
We are particularly excited about the scheme because it is a great low-energy way that people with M.E. can get involved and support our work with minimal hassle.
