Good luck to our London Marathon runners

21 April 2012

We would like to wish all of our Virgin London Marathon runners the very best of luck in the race tomorrow. There are fifteen brave people running to raise sponsorship money for Action for M.E. The money they raise is invaluable in enabling us to maintain and expand the reach of our Support Programme.

Look out for runner Yaz Chaudhri, who has been selected by the BBC to have her story told as part of their broadcast on BBC One. Yaz is running for her brother Ben, who has had severe M.E. for many years.

Each and every one of the fifteen has spent many months of intensive training and fundraising in preparation for tomorrow. We are immensely grateful to them for all their hard work and wish them the very best of luck for the race.

Television coverage begins on BBC One at 8:30am and continues throughout the morning until 2pm. To find out how you can sponsor any of our runners, or if you would like to run for Action for M.E., contact Georgia by email or by calling 0117 930 7293.
