NHS spending on M.E.? Time for Action

The Health and Social Care Bill enters report stage today, with members of the House of Lords continuing their detailed scrutiny.

As they consider the Government’s proposed reforms and further privatisation of the NHS, Action for M.E. asks: why has so little money been spent on the provision of specialist healthcare for people with M.E.?

No other illness with such a devastating impact has been overlooked in this way. Nicola has had M.E. for 15 years but cannot access treatment in her area. Unacceptable.
