Come to a meeting in Burnley on ESA

4 March 2011

The House of Commons’ Work and Pensions Committee plans to hold an open meeting in Burnley on Monday 7 March.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear the views of the public on the migration of people currently claiming Incapacity Benefit to Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). The process is being piloted in the Burnley area. The Committee is particularly keen to hear the views of people who have been through the assessment process.

A flyer gives further details.

Please pass on this message on to anybody who might be interested, especially if they may be able to come to the open meeting.

Action for M.E.’s Policy Officer, Tristana Rodriguez, will be attending. If you have been through the ESA assessment process and have not yet shared your experience with us, please contact Tris.
