Equality Commission to be streamlined

Government may stop funding a complaints handling service for disabled air travellers, following a review of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).

A consultation report published 22 March suggests the helpline should be transferred to the Air transport Users Council, as part of a bid to make the EHRC more focused and cost effective. Consultation deadline: 15 June.
