Health Bill-call for evidence

2 February 2011

The House of Commons Public Bill Committee is asking for views on the Health and Social Care Bill.

The Bill would give consortia of General Practitioners responsibility for commissioning the majority of health services, and abolish Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs), transferring responsibility to local authorities.

Evidence must be submitted in writing by 31 March.
