Ask your MP to sign EDM 48
16 May 2012
As reported previously, we have been waiting for news on a new Early Day Motion (EDM) to replace EDM 2977 which was cancelled as part of the administrative procedure when Parliament prorogued.
We can now report that EDM 48 again asks:
"That this House recognises the importance of Action for ME's Time for Action campaign to educate policy makers, service providers and the public on myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), a misunderstood disease which affects more than 250,000 people in the UK and leaves half of its sufferers unable to work; acknowledges a lack of understanding of ME that has resulted in many sufferers unable to access support; and welcomes the campaign's commitment to ending the ignorance, injustice and neglect of ME once and for all."
We need your help to encourage as many MPs as possible to sign up and have prepared a template letter to help. To find their contact details, you can search They work for you using your postcode.
