Joint APPG on Disability Strategy

A meeting of the APPG on Disability Strategy will be on Tuesday 12 June 2012, 2.30pm -3.30pm,
Committee Room 4a, Houses of Parliament.

This meeting is co-hosted by the APPGs on Disability, Autism, Deafness, Eye Health and Visual Impairment, Learning Disability, Mental Health, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME).

The meeting will discuss the Government’s forthcoming Disability Strategy. The Minister for Disabled People, Maria Miller MP, will tell the members what they have heard from disabled people and disability organisations during the consultation early 2012 and share emerging thinking on the strategy. A panel of disabled people will participate in the discussion.

Because of the number of APPGs co-hosting the meeting, places for APPDG observers are limited. Please RSVP to campaigns@disabilityrightsuk.org. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

- For directions to the Houses of Parliament, click here. Go to the Cromwell Green visitors’ entrance. Once you clear security you will be directed into Westminster Hall. Officers will be able to show you the way to the Committee Corridors.
