Number of M.E. admissions in NI hospitals

Mr D McIlveen asked the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety how many people have been diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) in each of the last five years.
Northern Ireland Assembly answered on 27 January:

"Information is not available on the number of people that have been diagnosed with M.E. in each of the last five years, however information is available on the number of admissions to Health and Social Care (HSC) Hospitals in Northern Ireland where a diagnosis of M.E. was recorded."
