Time for Action goes to Westminster

A parliamentary drop-in event for MPs was held yesterday by Action for M.E. The event was attended by three people with M.E. who were able to tell MPs about the issues they felt most strongly about, and about how they could support our Time for Action campaign.

Parliamentarians who attended included Vice Chair of the APPG on M.E. Ian Swales MP (Liberal Democrat); Mark Garnier MP (Conservative); Ian Murray MP (Labour, pictured right with our Policy Officer Tristana Rodriguez); and the Countess of Mar.

Each was given a Time for Action manifesto plus a copy of our recent report, Ignorance, injustice and neglect.
