Changes to Wales' Blue Badge scheme

The Blue Badge disabled parking scheme provides preferential parking for those who are unable or virtually unable to walk because of an impairment.

According to the Mid & West Wales M.E. Group, "a consultation is seeking views on a number of proposals to improve the scheme in Wales to reflect the social changes which have taken place over the last 40 years, and to ensure that the scheme is administered efficiently, consistently and fairly."

Comments should be submitted by 31 October. There is a web form which you can download and post to: Blue Badge Team, Local Government and Communities (Integrated Transport Unit), Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ.
