E-petition for biomedical research

An e-petition about the funding of biomedical research into CFS/M.E. has been created by Robert Courtney and will be later sent to the Department of Health.

The petition says:

"An independent committee of experts and patient representatives should be set up to oversee government funding of biomedical research into M.E./CFS, and the amount of yearly government funding allocated to biomedical research into M.E./CFS should be similar to other diseases such as MS, AIDS, cancer and Parkinson's."

The closing date for signatures is 4 February 2012.
