MEA funds study of transcription factors

The ME Association has announced £42,000 funding for research into the role of transcription factors (proteins which are part of the body’s defence processes) in M.E.
The year-long study will be carried out by Dr Abhijit Chaudhuri, Professor Peter Behan, Professor John Gow, Professor Chris Hillier, and Simone Hutchinson at Glasgow Caledonian University.
