Chance for carers to have their say

Carers are being invited to take part in a survey which will be used to monitor the impact social care cuts have had on the six million people in Britain who provide unpaid care. The organisers of Carers Week 2012, which runs from 18 to 24 June, who are running the annual survey, say recent research shows that carers save the Government £119 billion a year, yet receive little recognition themselves.
