M.E. is a complex, misunderstood, and stigmatised illness, which limits public compassion and therefore our ability to raise income from the general public.

Consequently, support from trusts and foundations is vital to ensure that Action for M.E. can continue to improve the lives of people with this horrible illness.

Grants from trusts and foundations have enabled us to:

• develop this website – the most comprehensive online resource for people with M.E. in the UK
• use social media to reach out to more people affected by the illness, including Carers and connect a very isolated community
• invest in our telephone support line, doubling the opening hours and introducing a new email support service
• campaign to protect the vulnerable from cuts in public services.

We are committed to building long-term relationships with our supporters by providing excellent standards of communication. We offer detailed project information to meet your needs and regular updates on work being funded.
