Dressing Gown Day

Why hold a Dressing Gown Day?

This simple idea of wearing your dressing gown to school or work for a day is a fun way to get involved in raising awareness - and a little different from normal ‘dress down days’.

Many people with M.E. simply don’t have the energy, or are in too much pain, to get out of bed and out of their dressing gown each day.

We hope that, amid the fun, participants will remember that there are some people who cannot lead an independent life or keep a ‘normal’ daily routine, and want to help us support these people. All we ask is that a small donation is given by every person taking part.

What can we offer you?

We provide fundraising packs full of balloons, stickers, information leaflets and helpful advice to help organise your event. We will also present a Certificate of Appreciation as a token of our thanks.

Should you be interested, we are able to advise you about a press release to the local media and we may be able to include information on our website and in our national magazine – InterAction.

Should M.E. affect one of your pupils or staff, we can provide you support through extensive information and advice.
