Craft an angel

Craft an angel

Every year, we support young people with M.E. to share handcrafted cards with each other via our office. This year, we would love to also send crafted angels to the most severely affected by M.E. Knowing you are thinking of them will make their day. You might have seen this advertised in our Cheers e-newsletter or you might have accidentally stumbled upon it whilst browsing our website. Either way there are so many different ways that you can create Christmas angels decorations – who knew!

You can make them using a huge range of different materials including felt, clothes pins and many more. All that we ask is that the Christmas Angels can be hung from a tree using a piece of ribbon or string.

Here are a few that we found online:

After crafting an angel you can:

  • share pictures of your angel with us on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram
  • post your finished angels to Knit an angel, Action for M.E., 42 Temple Street, Keynsham BS31 1EH. If you have any questions, please contact our Community Fundraiser, Emily Sinclair by email or on 0117 937 6626. Thank you so much for your support.

Once we have everyone's angels we will share them amongst the severely affected in the community. You can also write a short message to the person that the angel will be sent to. If not, we will attach one from the Action for M.E. team.

Have you got your own crafted angel pattern that you think others would enjoy making? You can share your design by emailing Holly.
