M.E. healthcare in Scotland: share your views

July 21, 2017

What treatment or management approaches for M.E. have you been offered by healthcare professionals? Did they listen to your views and treat you with respect?

Action for M.E. is asking people affected by M.E. in Scotland to tell us about their experiences, to inform our response to a Scottish Parliament consultation on healthcare and NHS services.

The consultation, led by the Health and Sport Committee, aims to explore the culture of the NHS and the way this impacts on patients, including how NHS Scotland ensures that its staff are well informed, and appropriately trained.

If you are interested in sharing some information about your experience relating to this, please complete our short survey.

There are 11 questions in total, which ask about the quality of care and services you’ve received, in particular:

  • what kind of healthcare you’ve had access to
  • whether that care was appropriate and effective
  • how healthcare professionals take your views into account.

The survey will close on Thursday 3 August. Thank you for sharing your views with us.
