Earlier this month, we shared an update about our Welfare Advice and Support Service, which was experiencing a very high level of requests for support. In order to ensure that we are able to provide a good-quality service to the people with M.E. that we had already committed to helping, we took the decision to temporarily close this service to new enquiries.
We know what a valuable service this is and intended that the temporary closure last for two weeks but, due to circumstances beyond our control, have had to extend this period.
We have been working hard to re-open our Welfare Advice and Support Service as soon as possible and are pleased to announce that we anticipate re-opening the service next week (date to be confirmed). A booking system will be in place for you to set up a confidential, one-to-one telephone appointment with our expert Welfare Advisors, Sophie Knight and Alice Archer. Please bear with us as the line is likely to be very busy; we will endeavour to answer your call as quickly as we can.
