Our 2017 AGM and conference: programme confirmed
October 03, 2017
Action for M.E.'s annual AGM and conference offers a valuable opportunity to share your views and experiences with others affected by M.E., meet Action for M.E. staff, Trustees and volunteers, and hear more about the services and support we can offer you and your family.
This year's event takes place on Thursday 16 November in central London.
The full programme has now been confirmed, and includes:
- children’s services consultation, led by young people, their parents/carers, and the professionals supporting them: help us design a service that reduces isolation, increases knowledge and awareness, and ensures equality of care for children with M.E. and their families, building on the existing work of our expert Children's Services Team.
- screening of Jen Brea’s award-winning M.E. documentary, Unrest, followed by a Q&A
- Action for M.E. Annual General Meeting (AGM) with 2016-2017 updates from Sonya Chowdhury, Chief Executive and Philip Marsden, Treasurer.
Having successfully sought funding to cover part of the costs of this event, we are pleased to be able to offer places to delegates without charge. Any voluntary contributions to the remaining costs would be most gratefully received; you can do this via our Donate page or by calling us on 0117 927 9551. Thank you.
For those who aren’t able to attend, our roundtable discussion session will also be hosted virutally so you can take part from home, plus our AGM will be livestreamed and/or filmed. Watch this space for further updates.
