Action for M.E. will be raising awareness of M.E. on BBC Radio Shropshire today from around 10.30am today.
Our CEO Sonya Chowdhury will be joining a woman who has had M.E. for nine years and who will be talking to presenter Jim Hawkins about the disbelief she has faced from consultants who didn’t believe M.E. was a real condition.
Sonya will talk about the physical and emotional impact of this neurological condition and how it affects all areas of an individual’s life and family, along with providing information about the services and support Action for M.E. offers to improve the lives of children, families and adults affected by M.E.
You can listen to the broadcast live on the BBC Radio Shropshire website.
