Free online self-advocacy workshop, Wed 15 July

Do you live in Bath and North East Somerset? Do you have M.E./CFS, or care for someone who does? Would you like to improve your self-advocacy skills to ensure your voice is heard and your rights are respected?
Join Action for M.E.’s free online self-advocacy workshop, funded by Healthwatch BANES.
Led by our experienced team, this workshop will cover:
- What is advocacy, and how can I self-advocate?
- Tools, tips and suggestion to empower you to self-advocate
Where? The workshop will take place online, with participants supported to access this in a way that works for them, as far as we are able to do so
When? 11am to 1pm, Wednesday 15 July 2020.
Spaces are limited, so please register your place now, and we'll email you full joining instructions. Please note you must be over 18, and living in BANES, to be eligible. In order to better understand who is accessing our services, our funders have asked us to collect data on age, gender, ethnicity and disability for monitoring purposes; this will be anonymised before we share it with them.
