Launching our new five-year strategy at our 2016 conference and AGM last week, we set out how we plan to improve the lives of people with M.E., inspire action at all levels, and invest in change.
As part of this, we promise to bring new researchers to the field by investing in at least one three-year postdoctoral or PhD studentship at any one time for projects focused on biomedical M.E. research.
The focus of this initiative is to support high-quality, innovative biomedical research ideas that have the potential to increase our current knowledge of M.E. and to support new career researchers into the field, building capacity for future research.
This call is open to UK-based researchers, who can apply by downloading our research call and application form.
This call builds on priorities identified by people affected by M.E. through an Action for M.E. survey and is targeted at supporting a PhD studentship for up to three years with 50% funding to be matched by the applicant’s university.
The deadline for Action for M.E. to receive your application is 4pm Monday 6 February 2017.
