Our fundraiser of the week is class 9ML from Notting Hill and Ealing High School, whose recent fundraising has raised an incredible £507 to support our work.
Each class has a designated charity week each year and thanks to 9ML student Isabella, whose mother Priscilla has M.E., this year Action for M.E. were the recipients.
Pupils made cakes for teachers to buy, held a raffle, sold wristbands and asked people to guess the number of sweets in a jar to help raise their fantastic total.
On Friday they also put on a lunchtime screening of an episode of Friends and sold popcorn and cups of breakfast cereal kindly donated by the Cereal Killer Café. Alan and Gary Keery, who run cereal café’s in Brick Land and Camden Market, kindly donated 16 boxes of American cereal to help with the schools fundraising.
We’d like to thank Bella and all the students and teachers at Notting Hill and Ealing High School for supporting Action for M.E., and the Cereal Killer Café for helping as well. We’re bowled over by their success.
