Our fundraisers of the week this week are a group of National Citizens Service's volunteers, Cohort 2 Summer 2018, who are taking part in a fundraising dip at Blyth Beach, Northumberland.
They have also made a great video about M.E., sharing some key statistics about the illness and its impact - you can watch the film on YouTube.
NCS offers a way for 15 to 17-year-olds to make friends, and learn skills they might not teach in the classroom. One of the group members in this year's summer cohort has a relative affected by M.E., and so the whole group has chosen to fundraise in support of our work as well as raise awareness of M.E.
As you can see from their fundraising page, they have already nearly reached their total of £150.Thank you Cohort 2 for your generous support!
