April 20, 2018
The sun is expected to shine on the 50,000 runners taking part in this Sunday's 2018 London Marathon - and among them are 17 very special fundraisers.
Action for M.E.'s 17-strong team of marathon challengers have already raised more than £18,600 with donations still coming in.
We say a huge and sincere thank you – and best of luck – to Andrew Edwards (who has single-handedly raised almost £5,000), Jon Winter, James Perks, Jemma Storey, Harry Storey, Rob Osment, Charlotte Fenn-Goode, David Rogers, Graham Booker, Hayley Bosley, Lily Andrews, Martin Jarvis, Andrew Edwards, Andy Godbeer, Glen Deacon, Nick Biddle, Myurah Nathan and Rasha Abdalla.
We also love this brilliant and colourful film, made by Jemma and Harry Storey’s sister, Pippa, showing Jemma training hard for Sunday’s race.
Jess Burden, our Fundraising Officer, will be there to meet our runners and their families at the start and end of the race, and she plans to be cheering at mile 13 and mile 22. Look out for our Action for M.E. flag!
