Last Sunday's Prudential Ride London 100 saw six cyclists take on the 100-mile course in aid of Action for M.E. They completed the course alongside thousands of other ambitious cyclists and the 150,000 people who took to the streets to cheer on the riders on their route from London to Surrey.
Father and son duo Al and Russell (pictured) told us that they “had a great time and both managed to run in decent times of just over seven hours eight minutes, with a riding rime of 6 hours 24 minutes. So far we have raised more than £1,6775 and plan to continue our fundraising through to the end of August, just before we undertake the Tour O’ The Borders at the start of September.”
We'd like to say a huge thank you to all our Ride London 100 cyclists Rick, Lorna, Will, Justin, Al and Russell - for all the hard work they have put into training for the event and for their impressive fundraising efforts, with their team total clocking in at nearly £6,020 so far. Brilliant!
