The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is asking people who have experienced good or poor care to let them know by completing an online form anonymously. They are seeking views of a wide range of services including GPs, clinics, hospitals and many more.
This is an opportunity for people with long-term health conditions to tell the regulator about their experiences of the health and social care services they use. Many people with M.E. have had positive and negative experiences in the past so we would encourage you to complete the online form and ensure your voice is heard. Action for M.E. will also look to gather the views of people in a large survey this year and the results will also be submitted to the CQC.
It is vital that the CQC are aware of people with M.E. experience of care so they can identify where standards are falling. The short questionnaire will take just a few minutes and will may help shape a more positive service in the future.
You can complete their online form here.
