If you're the parent of a young person with M.E. (or you have M.E. yourself) and are thinking of going on holiday during half-term, it’s worth knowing that at European airports you have the right to receive help with arriving, checking in and moving through the airport.
The assistance is available to anyone who has a sensory, physical or learning disability which affects their mobility using transport.
Airlines and airports have different facilities for disabled people and the website eGo has put together a comprehensive guide to special assistance at UK airports for people with reduced mobility - you can check whether your airport or airline has the services you need here.
