Meet others with M.E. in Glasgow at our taster session
August 09, 2018
Want to find out more about the services and support Action for M.E. offers in Scotland - and meet others living with the condition? We are hosting a health and wellbeing taster and information session in Glasgow on three week's time, and anyone affected by M.E. is welcome.
This event takes place on Saturday 1 September at the citizenM Hotel, 60 Renfrew Street, Glasgow G2 3BW. You can:
- book a confidential, one-to-one appointment with our Welfare Rights Advisor (09.30am to 2.30pm, and 3pm to 4.30pm; must be booked in advance. Telephone appointments available if you can't come on the day)
- meet our team in Scotland, have some lunch and meet others living with or caring for people with M.E.
- hear about our work in Scotland, including our Mentor M.E. project
- take part in art and relaxation taster sessions - no need to book.
Our Project Coordinator for Scotland, Theresa Burns, and our Avril McLean, Scotland Project Worker will be on hand to answer questions, and refreshments will be served that cater for gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy free diets.
"Please come along to meet members of our team, as well as other people with similar experience, and to enjoy the taster activities," says Theresa. "We want you to leave feeling better-informed about the support we can offer."
For more information, or to book your place, contact Avril by email or call on 07753 247099.
