Labour MP for East Ham Stephen Timms has tabled an Early Day Motion (EDM) asking MPs to support a review of the NICE guideline for M.E., after being contacted by constituent and M.E. advocate Sarah Reed
It notes that M.E. is a “serious, debilitating, chronic health condition affecting about 250,000 people in the UK” and “urges NICE to review CG53 and to consider patient experience and recent international scientific evidence.”
EDMs are formal motions submitted for debate in the House of Commons.
You can find out more and use an automated form to contact your MP asking them to support the EDM on the M.E. Action website.
