New scheme to help you get a seat on London transport
June 14, 2017
If you have M.E., live in London and find yourself having to stand when using public transport, you may benefit from the Please Offer Me a Seat campaign.
The scheme by Transport for London allows people living with a disability, illness or condition such as M.E. who are unable to stand for long to apply for a badge and card that asks other commuters to offer them a seat.
The badge and card can be used on the London Underground, London Overground, TfL Rail, Buses, DLR, Trams and River Services and is free to apply for.
You can find out more and apply for your card on the Transport for London website.
Does this sound like something that would be beneficial for you? Is anyone with M.E. already using the badge and card? Let us know in the comments below!
