NICE round table: Forward-ME update

Update from Forward-ME on this afternoon’s roundtable event hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) today.
The event will aim to discuss key issues raised prior to the publication of its paused guideline for M.E.
We are not attending to discuss changes to the guideline. The guideline was agreed upon and approved by all committee members, representing a wide range of experiences of and expertise in M.E, after robust and exhaustive consideration of the evidence.
We share your frustration and want to see the guideline as soon as possible.
Please also note that all stakeholders have signed a confidentiality agreement, required by NICE, which means we cannot share what is discussed today.
