"I know what you are thinking – ‘in the pictures I see of Kerrie, she looks good...’ Well yes, do you think I would take photos of my wife on a normal day on the sofa in her pyjamas struggling and looking tired?” Martyn, our fundraiser of the week discussing his wife’s M.E. and its invisible nature.
Martyn will be taking part in Ride London, a weekend long festival of cycling where athletes ride 100 miles over the two-day period. This year it is expected that more than 100,000 cyclists will participate in the event.
We’d like to thank Martyn for choosing our charity to fundraise for and wish him the best of luck in the event and also his training.
There are still places on our Ride London Action for M.E. team. If you’d like to support us to reach more children, adults and families affected by M.E. then you can sign up below. By joining our team you will receive free fundraising materials, regular training advice and tips and the full support of our fundraising team.
