Action for M.E. has submitted written evidence to the Public Accounts Committee's Services to people with neurological conditions: progress review inquiry.
The inquiry is challenging the Department of Health and NHS England on poor progress in achieving better services and outcomes for people with neurological conditions, and the committee is meeting this afternoon.

In our written submission we explain that access to healthcare services is a postcode lottery for people with M.E., and that personal care support is crucial in supporting dignity and wellbeing for people with the most severe form of M.E.
We also cite our recent Close to collapse survey and interim report, which has found that adult social care services across the UK are failing to respond to the care needs of people with M.E. .
