Back pain study seeks volunteers
10 August 2011
University College London, Imperial College and Leicester University are conducting research into the role of movement for people with persistent back pain.
The study is using recent technological developments from the world of gaming to record participants' movements using sensors.
The universities are looking for volunteers from the Greater London area who experience back pain to take part. Travel expenses will be paid for participants.
Pete Moore, co-author of the Pain & Self Care Toolkit and Trainer, has called this "a unique opportunity for people with back pain to actually find out how they are moving and how technology can help them and others in the future."
For more information or to take part, please visit the study's website or contact Dr Matteo Cella by email or telephone: 0207 679 5682.
