APPG on M.E. Meeting Minutes Now Available

APPG on M.E. 10 May 2023

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on M.E. took place on Wednesday, May 10, alongside the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the APPG on M.E.

Presentations were given by Sonya Chowdhury, the CEO of Action for M.E., on the implementation of the 2021 NICE guideline and the findings of Action for M.E.’s Freedom of Information Report. Presentations were also given by Professor David Strain and the 25% M.E. Group on Severe M.E.


APPG on M.E. 14 June 2023

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on M.E. on Severe M.E. took place on Wednesday, June 14.

Sonya Chowdhury, the CEO of Action for M.E., presented a case study of the experience of a child suffering from severe M.E., as well a case study on the experience of an adult with severe M.E. on behalf of Helen Baxter from the 25% M.E Group.

The draft minutes from the APPG on ME that took place on June 14 are available now. These minutes will remain in draft until approved by members at the next meeting.

The next meeting of the APPG on ME will be held in due course and we will update the community accordingly.
