Dr David Strain in latest Learn about M.E. podcast

Clinician and researcher Dr David Strain talks about working with people with M.E. and Long Covid in the latest episode of our Learn about M.E. podcast series, out today.
Complementing Dr Nina Muirhead's CPD-accredited learning module for health professionals, the podcast features Dr Muirhead alongside poet and artist Alec Finlay, talking about the impact of contracting Covid on top of M.E.
A Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Exeter Medical School, and the British Medical Association's representative on the Long Covid taskforce, Dr Strain, who also spoke out on BBC's Horizon programme earlier this year, says:
"The political drive that's been put behind Covid means that research that is going into Long Covid will hopefully be of benefit to those living with M.E."
With funding from Scottish Government’s Neurological Framework, we are working with the ME Association, #MEAction Scotland and the 25% ME Group to promote the module and podcast in Scotland, and ensure more doctors better understand M.E.
