Fundraiser of the week: all the Walk with M.E. teams!

With contributions now finalised after amazingly continuing to come in past the May 12 end date, our fundraisers of the week this week are all the teams who contributed to this year’s Walk with M.E. challenge! For the challenge, each team walked a collective total of at least 1 million steps in 100 days to raise money for children and adults with M.E.
Together everyone was able to raise an incredible £2,966 for the campaign, with every penny being doubled. Action for M.E. Fundraising Manager Bella said:
“Given everything that has happened and changed since we began counting our steps in February, we were amazed to see donations still coming after the campaign finished through May and into June. With every penny raised being doubled by one of our generous supporters, we can support even more people with M.E. throughout these difficult times. Thank you to everyone who took part!”
Our Walk with M.E. campaign runs for 100 days each year up to 12 May and anyone is welcome to take part. Team members not able to walk any steps at all, such as those more severely affected by M.E., have inspired their teams and cheered them on to raise awareness and funds for our vital services.
