Fundraiser of the week: Skydiving Janice

“M.E. has affected my family for several years… I’ve seen first-hand how M.E. can affect people and more awareness is needed.”
Our fundraiser of the week is skydiving Janice, who took on a 14,000ft plunge in support of her parents, who both have M.E.
Janice’s efforts saw her raise almost £1,500 for Action for M.E. – an amazing achievement that we’re very grateful for and more than triple her initial target. Janice said of her fundraising efforts:
“The response has been overwhelming with the generosity of people, particularly in these challenging times.
“I would like to offer special thanks to Kay and Mark Carruthers at Skydive North West for looking after me on the day and the donation for the cost of cameraman Steve Nolan. Also to Vaylia Integrated Security for the face coverings, raising general awareness of the jump and generous donations to the cause.”We think it’s fair to say Janice’s efforts really were sky-high.
