Fundraiser of the week: Zara and her Jurassic hike

A huge thank you to this week’s fundraiser of the week Zara, who’s taking on the mammoth Jurassic Coast Challenge 2020, trekking from Poole Harbour to Weymouth to raise money for Action for M.E.
Zara is taking part in the 56km non-stop hike from 19 September 2020 to 20 September to support a close friend with M.E. and has already managed to raise £350 of her £400 target. Speaking of her challenge, Zara said:
“I’m aiming to do this entirety in daylight (1 day), exceed my own navigation skills (i.e. follow other people who look like they’ve signed up too) or basically get lost.
“If in the end the charity can put any little money I raise into funding further research to help slow or reverse the development of M.E., I would have felt I’ve helped a solid friend.”
Zara’s efforts show true friendship and we hope she enjoys her challenge.
