National Strategy for Disabled People: have your say

January 25, 2021

The Disability Unit in the Cabinet Office is currently developing a National Strategy for Disabled People, scheduled for publication in spring 2021.

To help inform the strategy, which the Government says will “make practical changes to policies which strengthen disabled people’s ability to participate fully in society,” a public survey has been launched for individuals to respond to. The survey is multiple choice and you can save your progress and return later if you wish.

In order for your survey response to influence the development of the National Strategy for Disabled People, you must respond to the questionnaire by Saturday 13 Feb 2021. The survey will then remain open until 23 April, during which time your responses will help to influence how the plans are delivered, rather than the plans themselves.

We are disappointed to see such little time being given to people with disabilities to have their voices heard for the new strategy. We will also be engaging with the Disability United to ensure the experiences of people with M.E. are heard. Please visit:
