Potential merger: share your views and questions

For the past month, our Board of Trustees have been exploring a potential merger with UK charity The ME Trust, with a view to making a decision in mid-September.
To inform this process and next steps, we have been receiving and responding to feedback from people we work with and are supported by, including our Supporting Members, our volunteers, the donors and Trusts that fund our work, and people that use our services.
As part of this ongoing process, we want to gather further views from you and others living with M.E., including carers and professionals, and have put together a short survey of five questions via Google Forms.
The deadline for responding is 9am on Wednesday 15 September, so we can collate and review all feedback before a Board decision about merging is taken on Thursday 16 September. Please do share with anyone you think might be interested.
Action for M.E. CEO Sonya Chowdhury and ME Trust CEO Helen Winning plan to host a webinar on Tuesday 21 September, 2pm to 3pm, to answer questions about how our two charities might work together following the decision. You can register to take part here, and a recording will be shared on our YouTube channel for those unable to make it on the day. Please share any questions you have for Sonya and/or Helen in the survey.
