Vote for Sonya on the Bath Power List 2020

August 27, 2020

Our Chief Executive Sonya Chowdhury has been included in the Bath Power List 2020, with voting now open.

Somerset Live, who publish the list, says: “Our annual Bath Power List identifies the biggest movers and shakers in the city and in the surrounding area – whether they be business leaders, politicians, sports stars, community organisers or charity founders.”

Awards like this offer a great opportunity for us to raise the profile of M.E., and what it means for those who live with its impact every day.

Roger Siddle, Chair of our Board of Trustees, says, “DecodeME, the world’s largest M.E. study, launching next week, would not have happened without the drive and ambition of a number of people, including Sonya and her unwavering commitment to collaboration at every level. She has devoted her career to improving the lives of children and adults in the here and now, and always with future change in mind. Curry for M.E., her fantastic fundraising event which saw Sonya raise nearly £30,000 so our Crisis, Advocacy and Support Service can reach more people with M.E., is just one example."
